New Mexico Wild Action Fund endorsed candidates had an outstanding primary night. Our gubernatorial endorsed candidate, Deb Haaland, won 72%–28% and will face Gregg Hull in the November election. NMWAF did not endorse in any other statewide races and will consider them in the coming months.

NMWAF engaged in critical state legislative primaries, endorsing four fantastic proven incumbent allies and a new champion in an open seat. All five candidates won, including defeating three former conservative state legislators trying to take their seats back.

NMWAF is the premier statewide organization playing in county commission races and continued that effort this year, winning six of nine contested races and supporting seven unopposed champions as they moved forward to the general election.
